Route Introduction
The "Encountering Mountains and Rivers" customized roaming tour connects six major destinations in one stop: the Shanghai metropolis, Zhangjiajie wonderland, Chengdu in the Land of Abundance, the 8D mountain city, the ancient capital Xi'an, and the imperial capital Beijing. It blends modern urban scenery, quartz sandstone peak forests, western Sichuan landscape wonders, a multi-dimensional magical mountain city, ancient capitals with Qin and Tang styles, and Ming and Qing royal cultural heritage. With dual parallel lines of landscapes and humanities, no compulsory transportation or accommodation bundling, and a pure sightseeing customization model, it offers higher freedom.
The journey begins with Shanghai's modern riverside view. Ascend the Oriental Pearl Tower or Shanghai Center to overlook the city skyline, stroll through Yuyuan Garden and Chenghuangmiao to taste old Shanghai local life, take a Huangpu River cruise to admire the Bund's architectural cluster of all nations, delve into Zhujiajiao Ancient Town to experience the gentleness of Jiangnan water towns, and enjoy dual surprises with Shanghai Disneyland and the "ERA Intersection of Time" acrobatics extravaganza. Go deep into Zhangjiajie to unlock Wulingyuan floating peak forests, Tianmen Mountain high-altitude glass skywalk, and Grand Canyon wonders, check out the 72 Strange Towers night view, explore the pristine karst cave wonderland of Heifeng Cave, and take in Tujia ethnic folk customs through the "Charm of Xiangxi" show. Transfer to Chongqing to experience the Yangtze River Cableway flying across the river, Liziba light rail passing through buildings, stroll through Ciqikou Ancient Town and Xiazhangli Old Street, and take a Two Rivers night cruise to view the brilliant lights of Hongyadong. Head to Chengdu to get close to giant pandas, sip covered-bowl tea at Heming Teahouse in People's Park, stroll Jinli Ancient Street to taste Sichuan snacks, climb Mount Qingcheng to ask about Taoism, and visit Dujiangyan to look back at history. Head north to Xi'an to touch the profound history of the Ming City Wall, taste northwestern flavors at the Bell and Drum Towers and Muslim Quarter, experience the shocking military array of the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the romantic legends of Huaqing Palace. Finally arrive in Beijing, watch the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square, stroll through the Forbidden City to explore royal ambiance, hike through Houhai Hutong to experience local life, climb the Mutianyu Great Wall to view magnificent mountains and rivers, tour the Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven to appreciate garden Zen, encounter literary trends in the 798 Art District, and conclude at the urban landmarks of the Olympic Park Bird's Nest and Water Cube.
